Here's a quick peek at just one idea from
the Kids of Integrity lesson on courteous
communication:
courteous
communication
Fill a plastic bag with pudding,
firmly seal the bag, then cut a
small hole in one corner. Give
your child the bag of pudding
and a plate, and let them have
fun squeezing the pudding out to
"decorate" their plate.
Habit helper:
Turn off the TV one
night a week and make
it Kids of Integrity
night. Aim to do one
Bible story discussion
and one hands-on
activity from the
character trait
lesson of your
choosing.
Next, ask your child to put all
the pudding back in the bag!
Discuss how we need to be
careful what we say when we
are upset. It's so easy to say
hurtful things, and there's no
way to take those hurtful words
back. Close by praying a short
prayer based on Psalm 19:14.
